Going from 18,000 codes to 140,000 codes will require extensive searching requirements with the help of a computer and internet access.<\/p>\n<p>Truth: Dave&#8217;s company <a href=\"http:\/\/www.findacode.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FindACode.com<\/a> is at the forefront of filling this emerging need for coders in the health care industry set to start October 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Truth: Making coding fun and interesting is not an easy task, but they have spent some resources on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/findacode\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">YouTube videos<\/a> and a prank <a href=\"http:\/\/www.findacode.com\/files\/FOIA-572187-2011-03-28.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">April Fool&#8217;s joke of &#8220;X-Codes&#8221;<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Truth: Find-A-Code was recently included in a <a href=\" http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/article\/SB10001424053111904103404576560742746021106.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WallStreet Journal article<\/a> about the new ICD-10-CM\/PCS code set.<\/p>\n<p>From the Wall Street Journal article:<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>One medical-coding website operator, Find A Code LLC, has  created a series of YouTube videos with the tagline, &#8220;Yeah, there&#8217;s a  code for that.&#8221; Snow White biting the poisoned apple, the firm says, may  be a case of T78.04, &#8220;anaphylactic shock due to fruits and vegetables (<a href=\"http:\/\/graphicsweb.wsj.com\/documents\/MEDICALCODES0911\/#term=anaphylactic%20shock%20due%20to%20fruits%20and%20vegetables\">see codes<\/a>).&#8221;  On April 1, the company posted a document with the secret &#8220;X-codes&#8221; to  describe medical conditions stemming from encounters with aliens.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Truth: Using these YouTube videos and &#8220;X-Codes&#8221; has been a good ice-breaker for potential clients who are embracing Find-A-Code as their source for data.<\/p>\n<p>Truth: Today in the Salt Lake Tribune, section A2, in News of the Weird, someone didn&#8217;t finish their fact-checking regarding the &#8220;X-Codes&#8221; and\/or realize that the document was released on<br \/>\n<em><strong>April 1.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fiction: Codes that cover conditions from encounters with extraterrestrials.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Truth: Codes that document conditions from &#8220;burn due to water skis on fire&#8221;. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=BNyHr5Afnfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(See our YouTube video of that.)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Truth: Our YouTube video clips all start out with &#8220;Yeah, there&#8217;s a code for that.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Truth: The title of this article is &#8220;They&#8217;ve got a code for that&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>They didn&#8217;t mention Find A Code specifically, but we thank them for the free publicity!
