Hey yall!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twas a good week. Visited alot of people previously in contact with missionaries. Had some great lessons. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Highlights<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Last district council<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Almost hit pidgeon #2<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Lit lesson at the Dewey’s mansion (for England standards)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Our friend told us to call the police for him, (now he isnt responding, hope he is still alive)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Got lost on a dirt road\/walkway in the car. Then proceeded to eat 240 popcorn nuggets from KFC ( as a district. Not just me)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Chair footie<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-The great monster wall collapse<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Reorganized the flat \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had a really good discussion with one of the members at our family home evening lesson tonight. We were talking about how many of our friends have partners that they have been with for a long time, but have never married. And this member, himself being a convert who was with his partner for many years before the were married and subsiquently baptized. Had some good insight. Here in England, there is not very many cultural, or monetary benefits to being married. Often, you actually recieve more incentive to stay seperated and file as a single parent, therefore, gaining support via the government. Marrige used to be pushed cultrually very much. But due to dwindling cohesion of faith and life, that cultural nudge isnt there anymore. Plus many people are much more worried about finances, and how to “beat the system” than doing the right thing. We also releyed that to lack of knowledge of gospel principles. Such as eternal marrige, and how important families really are. I have spoke before about the cinicallity of the people here in England, so I wont crack open that can of decomposing worms. But it does tie in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been blessed and privledged to have a Mother who is very knowledgable of human tendencies, due to the nature of her studies and work. And a Father who carries a similar calmness and understanding of life. So those things have also been passed to me, which I have delighted in sharing these insights with everyone. (Shoutout Mom and Dad)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know that we have a purpose, that God is our loving Heavenly Father, that He wants us to be like him, even better. Just as a father teaches his son to be like him, but to also be better. God wants us to be better, to glorify him through our obedience. During a recent lesson with a very knowledgable member. He mentioned Jesus’s “sermon on the mount” In which Jesus gave the people, “the higher law”. Just as life has different levels and experiences, there is a higher law that has been given that we must live. And those laws we recieve are for our benefit, even if they seem hinderences of natural life, we all know the natural man is an enemy to God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is my spiritual thought for yall. Take care, Jesus loves you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am doing well. I will be picking up my Trainee on Wednesday, wish me luck… no. blessings! Thats a better wish \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n
